Activated OSHC is a brand-new initiative to help OSHC services improve their Physical Activity and Screen Time programming.
The Activated OSHC program provides education and training on:
- How much Physical Activity and Screen Time to offer
- What types of Physical Activity and Screen Time to offer
- How to run facilitated games for kids
- Plus lots of practical tips and ideas on how to offer opportunities for kids to engage in Physical Activity everyday!

Why become an Activated OSHC?
- It will help you demonstrate the quality of your service to families, and to assessors during accreditation
- It provides free online training for educators within your OSHC service
- You can feel confident your service provides great physical activity and screen time programming to its children for improved health and wellbeing.
Who can be involved?
The Activated OSHC program is currently being trialled in a major research project in 192 OSHC services across South Australia, New South Wales, and Western Australia from 2022 until 2024.
Once the research trial is complete, Activated OSHC will be available to OSHC services Australia wide
