Activated OSHC is an accreditation program designed to help OSHC services use the new Physical Activity and Screen Time Guidelines. The Activated OSHC program provides the tools and online training for OSHC services to put the new guidelines in place and help children in their service become more active, happier, and healthier.
Activated OSHC was developed by a team of University researchers, OSHC sector members, and child health and education experts. The program is being trialed in 192 OSHC services across South Australia, New South Wales, and Western Australia from 2022 until 2024.
Once the research trial is complete, Activated OSHC will be available to OSHC services Australia wide.
